Local comb honey is a special variety produced locally by Honingwinkel in Utrecht. What makes comb honey unique is that it's still inside the honeycomb, including the beeswax. This keeps the honey pure and unprocessed, resulting in an authentic taste and texture.

Local comb honey can be consumed in a variety of ways. You can eat a piece of comb honey directly from the comb, including the beeswax, to enjoy its unique texture and flavor. Alternatively, you can separate the honey from the comb by chewing the comb honey and then removing the beeswax. Comb honey can be added to your favorite dishes, such as hot drinks, desserts, and even as a complete addition to cheese platters.

Shelf life
