Product description
Acacia honey is a type of honey produced by bees that collect nectar from the white flowers of the acacia tree.
Taste
Acacia honey is known for its soft and subtle flavor profile. This honey offers a delicate sweetness and a light floral undertone. It's a favorite among many for its versatility and ability to blend harmoniously with other flavors.
Texture
Comb honey (chewing gum-like structure) in combination with liquid honey.
How to eat/use this honey
Acacia honey from Honingwinkel offers a variety of consumption options. You can simply take a spoonful of honey and consume it directly. Let the honey melt on your tongue or swallow it. Alternatively, mix the honey with your favorite yogurt or meals, giving them a sweet and fragrant note.
Important! If you decide to add honey to your tea, make sure the temperature of the tea doesn't exceed 40°C (104°F). Temperatures above this point can cause the enzymes in the honey to break down, which can affect its nutritional value and properties.
Shelf life
In terms of shelf life, honey doesn't actually have a fixed expiration date. However, its flavor can diminish over time. For the best quality experience, it's recommended to use honey within two years of the purchase date.
Allergen information
Please note: Honingwinkel acacia honey is not recommended for children under 1 year old or those allergic to bee products. Using honey can cause allergic reactions in these groups.
