Product Description

Country of origin

Belgium

Product description

Honey is probably familiar to everyone. Turmeric is also becoming increasingly popular, but it originates from further afield. Turmeric originates in India and is made from the Curcuma longa plant. This plant has a root that is ground into the familiar turmeric powder. The powder is used in many cuisines around the world. In India, it is primarily used to make curry powders and masalas.

Taste

Weyn's delicious turmeric honey is enriched with 5g of turmeric and a pinch of black pepper, perfectly enhancing the flavor.

Texture

Honey with turmeric has a creamy texture.

How to eat/use the honey ?

You can enjoy Weyn's turmeric honey in many different ways. For example, you can simply eat the honey with a spoon. You can then let it melt on your tongue or swallow it immediately. You can also stir the honey into your yogurt or food.

Note! If you want to stir honey into your tea, it's best to keep your tea no warmer than 40°C (104°F). Once your tea is warmer than 40°C (104°F), the honey's enzymes can be destroyed.

Allergen information

Turmeric Honey is not suitable for children under 1 year of age. It is also not suitable for people with allergies to bee products.

Shelf life

Honey doesn't actually have an expiration date, but its flavor can fade over time. Therefore, it's best consumed within two years.
