Meet the beekeeper

Meet our local beekeeper from Belgium, where our Belgian honey comes from. With no less than 850 beehives, spread across various locations, he ensures a diverse range of honey varieties. Depending on where the bees collect their nectar, different types of honey are produced. The beehives from which our Raspberry Honey originates are located in nature where an abundance of raspberry bushes bloom.

Product description

Raspberry honey is extracted from the nectar of raspberry blossoms. Bees collect this nectar and convert it into the delicious honey we know as raspberry honey. This type of honey has a particularly pleasant aroma, which makes it even more tempting.

Taste

Raspberry honey has a subtle, yet distinct berry flavor. It combines the sweetness of honey with the fruity notes of raspberries.

Texture

In terms of texture, raspberry honey is liquid and smooth, making it easy to use and enjoy.

How to eat/use the honey?

Raspberry honey offers various ways to enjoy. Here are a few suggestions:

  • Enjoy a spoonful of raspberry honey directly from the jar and let the sweet taste tantalize your senses.
  • Stir the honey into your favorite yogurt for a fruity and natural sweetness.
  • Experiment with raspberry honey as an addition to dressings, sauces, or marinades for a unique twist.
  • Add a little raspberry honey to your cereals or oatmeal for a sweet start to the day.

Please note when using raspberry honey in hot drinks, such as tea. Ensure the temperature of the drink does not exceed 40 °C, to preserve the enzymes and delicate flavor of the honey.

Shelf life

Honey naturally has a long shelf life, but its flavor may fade over time. For the best quality and taste, it is recommended to consume raspberry honey within two years of purchase. Store the jar in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to extend its shelf life.

Allergen information

It is important to know that raspberry honey is not suitable for children under 1 year of age. Furthermore, people with an allergy to bee products should be cautious when consuming raspberry honey. Always consult a doctor or allergist if you have any doubts about using honey.
