Linden honey is produced by bees from the nectar of linden blossoms (Tilia).
Organic linden honey is made by bees kept according to organic farming practices.
Taste
Linden honey has a soft, floral taste with a light minty flavour.
Texture
The texture of organic linden honey is quite fluid and thin, similar to other types of raw honey.
How can you use or eat the honey?
Linden honey is a versatile type of honey that can be used in various ways. For example, it can be used as a sweetener for tea, coffee, or other drinks, or as a flavouring for yoghurt or cereals.
Please note! If you wish to stir the honey into your tea, it is advisable that your tea is no warmer than 40°C. Once your tea is warmer than 40°C, the enzymes in the honey can be lost.
Allergen information
De Traay's organic linden honey is not suitable for children under 1 year of age. Additionally, it is not suitable for people with an allergy to bee products.
Shelf life
Honey does not really have an expiry date, but its flavour can fade over time. It is therefore best consumed within two years.
