Meet the beekeeper

Discover our local beekeeper in the Alps, where our flower honey comes from. This unique honey is produced by bees that collect nectar from a variety of alpine flowers, such as fragrant Alpine clover, wild thyme, and mountain daisies.

In spring and summer, these flowers bloom abundantly on the mountain slopes, creating a beautiful palette of colors and providing a rich source of nectar for bees. This produces a honey with a bright, golden color and a refined flavor that reflects the fresh, floral aromas of the alpine meadows.

Our hives are nestled in the pristine Alpine landscape, where the bees enjoy the clean air and pristine flora. Thanks to the care and dedication of our beekeepers, you'll taste the pure, authentic flavors of the Alps in every drop of floral honey. Let yourself be transported to the mountain pastures and enjoy a true Alpine experience!

Product description

Alpine flower honey in Italy is a type of honey produced by bees that gather nectar from Alpine flowers. This honey is carefully collected and processed.

Taste

Italian Alpine flower honey has a sweet flavor with floral notes. The exact flavor can vary depending on the flowers and plants from which the bees collect the nectar.

Texture

The texture of Italian Alpine flower honey is generally fluid. However, the honey can crystallize over time, resulting in a fine-grained texture. This is a natural process and does not affect the quality or flavor of the honey. If desired, the honey can easily be warmed to restore its fluid texture.

How to eat/use the honey ?

The flower honey from the Italian Alps offers a wide range of uses:

  1. Pure pleasure: Experience honey in its purest form, straight from the jar, to appreciate the full, rich flavor and texture.
  2. Culinary creations: Use the honey as a delicious addition to toast, pancakes, waffles, or crackers. Combine it with fresh fruit for a gourmet treat.
  3. Flavoring: Add honey to salad dressings, marinades, and sauces for a subtle sweetness. Keep in mind that high temperatures can break down the natural enzymes in honey. Therefore, add the honey after the sauce or dressing has cooled.

    Shelf life

Honey is one of the few foods that lasts almost indefinitely and rarely spoils. While there's no strict expiration date, the flavor can change subtly over time. To ensure the full flavor experience, we recommend consuming honey within two years of purchase.

    Allergen information

Honey should not be consumed by children under 1 year of age and is also not suitable for people with an allergy to bee products.
