Meet the beekeeper

Discover our local beekeeper from Hungary – the source of our pure Hungarian honey. With no less than 850 beehives spread across various nature reserves, he ensures a rich and diverse range of honey types. Depending on the location, the bees collect their nectar, resulting in natural and unique flavour variations. For example, the beehives for our Acacia Honey are located in an area rich in flowering acacia trees, which produces a particularly mild and clear honey.

Product description

Acacia honey is a type of honey produced by bees that collect their nectar from the white flowers of the acacia tree.

Taste

Acacia honey is known for its mild and subtle taste. This honey offers a delicate sweetness with a light floral undertone. It is a favourite due to its versatility and ability to harmoniously combine with other flavours.

Texture

Our Acacia Honey has a pleasant soft, liquid consistency. This makes it easy to use and ideal for combining with various ingredients. This quality makes the honey extremely suitable for a wide range of culinary applications.

Usage tips

Acacia honey can be enjoyed in various ways:

  • Take a spoonful of honey and let it slowly melt on your tongue.

  • Mix the honey through yogurt, oatmeal or other meals for a sweet, fragrant touch.

  • Add honey to hot drinks, but ensure the temperature does not exceed 40°C. Higher temperatures can break down the enzymes in the honey, reducing its nutritional value and properties.

Shelf life

Honey naturally has no fixed expiry date. However, its flavour may diminish over time. For the best quality, we recommend consuming the honey within two years of purchase.

Allergen information

Not recommended for children under 1 year of age or individuals allergic to bee products, due to possible allergic reactions.
