Product description

Manuka honey is a special honey from the pristine wilderness of New Zealand. What makes this honey truly special is its MGO value, which indicates the amount of methylglyoxal present in the honey. This value contributes to its unique properties. Discover the natural beauty of Manuka honey and enjoy what makes it so special.

Certification

The highest quality standards of Manuka honey are guaranteed by thorough, independent testing in ISO 17025-accredited laboratories. These scientific tests are carefully conducted according to strict quality standards.

What makes Manuka honey even more special is the QR code on the cap of each jar. Simply scan this code with your phone for instant access to all relevant certificates and test results. This provides complete transparency about the quality and purity of Manuka honey, allowing you to enjoy this product with absolute confidence.

Taste

Manuka honey has a unique flavor that can vary depending on the location and the flowering season of the manuka bushes. It's usually deliciously sweet with a hint of spice, making every drop a taste adventure.

Texture

Mānuka honey stands out for its unique texture. It's thick and flows slowly, sometimes even a little grainy, depending on storage conditions. This gives Mānuka honey a unique mouthfeel and contributes to its distinctive character among honeys.

MGO value

When we talk about Mānuka honey, we refer to MGO 400+. MGO stands for methylglyoxal, a natural component of Mānuka honey. The number "400+" means this honey has a concentration of 400 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) or more. This is an indicator of the high quality of this honey.

How can you use or eat the honey?

In the morning: For optimal use, it is recommended to take one teaspoon of Manuka honey in the morning, preferably 30 minutes to 1 hour before breakfast and on an empty stomach.

In the evening: It is also suitable to use a teaspoon of Manuka honey in the evening, before or after dinner.

Shelf life

Honey doesn't have a fixed shelf life, but its flavor can become slightly less intense over time. For the best taste and quality, we recommend using honey within two years of purchase.

Allergen information

Manuka honey is not recommended for children under one year of age and for people with allergies to bee products.
