Product Description

Country of origin

Mexico

Discover the origin

Discover the pure power of the Mexican highlands. In the pristine mountainous regions of Mexico, bees gather their nectar from a rich diversity of wildflowers and exotic flora. The remote locations and sunny climate create a honey bursting with natural energy and a unique character.

Product description

Mexican Mountain Honey is an aromatic honey with a dark, golden color. This honey is harvested in regions where nature still runs free, resulting in a product that is both pure and powerful.

Taste

This Mountain Honey is known for its full, robust flavor with light notes of caramel and herbs. It offers a deeper sweetness than average floral honey, making it a favorite for those who appreciate honey with a distinct profile.

Texture

The honey has a viscous, liquid texture that pours easily. Due to its natural composition, the honey may crystallize over time; this is a sign of purity. Briefly warming the honey in lukewarm water will make it liquid again.

Usage tips

Mountain Honey from Mexico is a versatile flavor enhancer:

  • Enjoy directly: Delicious on a freshly baked pancake or a warm waffle.

  • Breakfast: A powerful addition to your daily bowl of oatmeal, smoothies, or Greek yogurt.

  • Hot drinks: Adds a rich dimension to coffee or tea. Only add the honey when the drink is drinkable (maximum 40°C) to preserve its nutritional value.

  • Baking: Due to its full flavor, this honey is extremely suitable as a natural sweetener in cakes or homemade granola bars.

Shelf life

Honey is naturally very long-lasting. For the best quality and taste experience, we recommend consuming the honey within two years of purchase. Store the jar in a dry, dark place at room temperature.

Allergen information

Not suitable for children under 1 year of age. Not recommended for individuals with an allergy to bee products.
