Product Description
Product Description
Country of Origin
Spain (harvested in the pristine, flowery Spanish mountain regions).
Product Description
Let this liquid mountain honey from Honingwinkel.nl transport you to the rugged Spanish Pyrenees and mountain ranges. This dark, full-bodied honey is collected by bees from a rich mix of wild mountain flora and honeydew from oak and beech trees. The result is a pure, unprocessed golden quality straight from nature into your jar. Ideal for those who love honey with a powerful and authentic story.
Taste
Rich, deep, and intense. This mountain honey is less sweet than standard floral honey and has a recognizable, slightly spicy and woody undertone. A full flavor that lingers pleasantly.
Texture
Wonderfully liquid, syrupy, and velvety smooth on the tongue.
Tip for crystallization: As this is a 100% natural product, the honey may crystallize over time (sugars solidifying). This is actually a sign of pure quality! Simply place the jar in a bowl of warm water (maximum 40°C) and the honey will become perfectly liquid again.
Usage Tips
-
Breakfast & Snacks: Delicious in yogurt, quark, or a warm bowl of oatmeal.
-
Cheese board: An absolute match with hard, aged cheeses or a mild goat cheese.
-
Hot drinks: Add a spoonful to your tea or warm milk (wait until the drink is at drinking temperature to preserve the healthy enzymes).
-
In the kitchen: Perfect as a natural sweetener in dressings, marinades, or baked goods.
Shelf Life
Honey is naturally very long-lasting. Store the jar tightly closed in a dry, dark place at room temperature. The exact best-before date can be found on the label.
Allergen Information
This product is naturally free from allergens (gluten-free, lactose-free, and without artificial additives).
Please note: Due to natural bacterial spores, honey is not suitable for children under 1 year of age.
Ingredients
100% pure mountain honey.
