For anyone who wants to enjoy something fresh, healthy, and delicious on their balcony this summer: this homemade peach yogurt ice cream is so good you'll never want to buy store-bought again. Easy to make, creamy in texture, and naturally sweetened with honey – this will be your new favorite on hot days!
Ingredients (for about 4 servings)
- 4 ripe peaches (approx. 400 g)
- 4 tablespoons (approx. 200 g) thick yoghurt (e.g. Greek yoghurt)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon flaked almonds
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
Preparation method
- Peel the peaches and remove the pits.
- Place the peaches, yogurt, and honey in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the mixture into silicone ice cube trays or small bowls. Place in the freezer and let it freeze completely (at least 4 hours).
- Remove the frozen cubes and return them to the food processor. Blend briefly until the mixture resembles ice cream. Be careful not to overblend, or it will become too soft.
- Using an ice cream scoop, scoop nice balls into a bowl or coupe.
- Garnish with some sliced almonds and fresh basil leaves for a surprising taste and presentation.
Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing, natural alternative to supermarket ice cream!
