Make your own ice cream: Peach Yogurt Ice Cream

Homemade Peach-Yogurt Ice Cream – Summer Delight

For everyone who wants to enjoy something fresh, healthy and delicious on their balcony this summer: this homemade peach-yogurt ice cream is so tasty you won't want to buy ready-made ice cream anymore. Easy to make, creamy in texture, and naturally sweetened with honey – this will be your new favorite on hot days!

Ingredients (for approximately 4 servings)

  • 4 ripe peaches (approx. 400 g)
  • 4 tablespoons (approx. 200 g) thick yogurt (e.g., Greek yogurt)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon flaked almonds
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Peel the peaches and remove the pits.
  2. Place the peaches, along with the yogurt and honey, in a food processor or blender. Blend until a smooth, creamy puree is formed.
  3. Pour the mixture into silicone ice cube molds or small containers. Place in the freezer and allow to freeze completely (at least 4 hours).
  4. Remove the frozen cubes and put them back into the food processor. Blend briefly until the mixture reaches the texture of soft-serve ice cream. Be careful not to blend too long, or it will become too soft.
  5. Scoop nice balls into a bowl or coupe with an ice cream scoop.
  6. Garnish with some flaked almonds and fresh basil leaves for a surprising flavor and presentation.

Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing, natural alternative to store-bought ice cream!
